residential swimming pools in Nepal
— hotel-grade, at home

The team behind Nepal’s five-star hotel pools builds private ones too — we’ve delivered pools for homes across Kathmandu, alongside our work for InterContinental, Hyatt, and Dusit. If you expect your pool built, heated, and maintained to that same standard, this is who we are and how we work.
01.

What “hotel-grade at home” actually means

It means you can read your quotation and know exactly what you’re getting. Every pump, filter, and valve is named — brand and model — not hidden inside a lump sum. We specify Emaux and Pentair filtration and pumps depending on the project, sized on turnover rate rather than a round number, which is why the water stays clear without a fight. Plant rooms are laid out to run quietly, so you hear the garden, not the equipment. And you get real choices on heating, automation, and disinfection. That specification is the difference between a pool that works for a decade and one that fights you by year two.
02.

Heated, automated, and comfortable year-round

A heat pump keeps the pool usable well past summer, through Kathmandu’s cold months. Automated dosing holds your water chemistry steady without daily hand-balancing, and app control is there if you want to check or adjust the pool from your phone. Building or renovating the whole home while you’re at it? We also engineer floor heating, hot water systems, and insulation Engineering Services.
04.

Your home stays yours

We’ve built private pools across Kathmandu and beyond, and you’ll notice we don’t name a single owner. That’s the point. Homeowners don’t want their houses on a company’s Instagram, so discretion is how we work by default — we show a pool only as far as the owner allows, and most of our residential work is never published at all. When we do show a private build, it’s an anonymised photo of the pool, labelled by area at most, never the address, the family, or anything that identifies the home.
03.

What goes wrong with a cheap build

Most pool problems trace back to decisions made to save money at the start. Under-sized filtration turns water green in warm weather. A shell built without proper structural work cracks and leaks. And the builder who quoted the lowest price is often the hardest to reach when something needs fixing two years on. None of this is bad luck — it’s predictable, and it’s why the cheapest quote usually costs the most. Our Buyer’s Guide walks through each of these before you sign anything.

PoolCare — maintained, not just built

A pool is only as good as its water this morning. VIE TEC PoolCare keeps yours right year-round — chemistry, cleaning, and equipment health, with a monthly written report so you always know its condition without checking yourself.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    1. What does a premium pool cost in Nepal?
Two numbers, because they answer different questions. The pool package itself — filtration, pumps, equipment, finishes — starts from around NPR 8–10 lakh. A complete build including civil construction, which is the excavation, shell, and structural work, typically starts around NPR 30 lakh and moves up with size, heating, automation, and disinfection. Whichever scope you’re pricing, you’ll get an itemized quotation with every component named and priced, not a single lump figure.
    2. How long does a pool take to build?
Four months minimum; a typical build runs 4–6 months. The real timeline depends on the size of the pool, your site conditions, how the civil construction runs alongside it, and the payment plan we agree. We give you a realistic schedule at design stage rather than an optimistic one.
    3. Salt or chlorine — which is better for a home pool?
Both work well; salt systems are gentler on skin and lower-maintenance day to day, chlorine is simpler upfront. We’ll recommend based on your pool, not on what we’d rather sell.
