    1. How much does a swimming pool cost in Nepal?

    It depends on size, heating, filtration grade, finishes and automation — an honest builder gives ranges, not one number. Our detailed cost guide breaks down every driver As a rule: if a quote is far below market range, the savings are hiding in the plant room, where you can’t see them until they fail.

    2. How long does it take to build a pool?

    A residential concrete pool takes four months minimum; a typical build runs 4–6 months from design sign-off to swim-ready — hotel pools depend on project coordination. Weather windows matter — we plan concrete work around monsoon. You get a stage-wise timeline in writing before we start.

    3. Can you heat a pool for year-round use?

    Yes — heat pumps produce roughly 4 units of heat per unit of electricity, and with a pool blanket, Kathmandu pools run 28°C through winter. Winter is exactly when hotel pools earn most: heated water photographs beautifully against cold air.

    4. Concrete or fiberglass (FRP) — which is better?
    FRP has a real place: rooftops, small plots, speed. Concrete engineered for Nepal’s seismic zone, with branded serviceable equipment, is a 25-year asset with unlimited shape and size. We build both — we’ll recommend by lifespan and site, not by what’s easiest to sell.
    5. Will a steam room damage my building?
    Not when built as a sealed vapor-proof envelope with dedicated ventilation — that’s the specialist part. Seepage stories come from steam rooms built like bathrooms: tile on brick, no vapor barrier. It’s why hotels don’t let general contractors build them.
    6. Do you service pools you didn’t build?
    Yes. Book a Pool Health Check (NPR 7,500, credited against your first year if you join PoolCare): our engineer inspects water, filtration, equipment and shell, and gives you a written report card — useful even if you never hire us.
    7. What does pool maintenance actually involve?
    About 30–45 minutes of attention a day, most of it automatable. PoolCare plans cover chemistry, cleaning and equipment health with a monthly written report — photos and readings included — so you always know your pool’s condition without asking.
    8. Do you work outside Kathmandu?
    Yes — Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal and beyond. Our current portfolio includes lakeside and altitude builds around Pokhara for international hotel brands.
    9. Which equipment brands do you use?
    Named brands, in writing: Emaux and Pentair filtration and pumps depending on the project, branded heat pumps, dosing and automation systems — every pump, filter and valve is listed by brand and model in your quotation. If a quote says ‘imported equipment’ without names, ask why.
    10. What happens after handover?
    Staff training, documentation, warranty — and PoolCare if you want us to stay. Your warranty covers defects; PoolCare covers performance. Many of our pools from years ago still run because someone qualified never stopped looking at them.
