Water treatment plants in Nepal
WTP, STP & ETP design
and construction

VIE TEC designs, builds and commissions water and wastewater treatment systems for hotels, industry and institutions in Nepal — from raw-water treatment plants to sewage treatment with reuse, under the same engineering leadership that has delivered 500+ building-services projects since 1995. We work from your consultant’s specifications or develop the design from your water analysis and discharge requirements.
Registered since 1995 · VAT/TPIN and insurance documentation ready for procurement files · Authorized Hilti distributor for Nepal · Systems specified to NFPA and UL/FM standards where applicable

Water Treatment Plants (WTP)

Design begins with the water analysis. The treatment train is selected against that analysis and the intended use, not against a standard package: multi-stage filtration, activated carbon, water softening where hardness requires it, and reverse osmosis where dissolved solids or specific ions require it. Disinfection and post-treatment are specified to the end use — potable, process, or boiler feed.

Capacities delivered range from 1,000 to 10,000 litres per hour, across hotel, institutional and industrial projects, including the plant at Soaltee Westend Resort, Birgunj. Every component is named by brand and model at quotation stage.

Firefighting Systems

We deliver active and passive fire protection for commercial, industrial, and large-scale residential projects.

Active systems: firefighting pumps, system controllers, and automatic sprinkler systems, specified to NFPA and UL/FM standards.

Passive systems: firestop systems, fire-resistant construction materials, and intumescent coatings — designed to contain fire and smoke at compartment boundaries rather than suppress it. Our firestop work uses Hilti systems, which VIE TEC distributes in Nepal as the authorized country distributor. That means the tested, certified system on your drawing is the system that gets installed, supplied by the company installing it.

Both are designed to the occupancy classification and documented for compliance approval.

Pumping and irrigation

We design and build pump houses, including selection, hydraulic sizing, and plant room layout. Pressure systems are specified for the building’s actual demand pattern and head, with the control regime designed alongside the pumps. We also deliver estate and agricultural irrigation pumping, including distribution and control.

Working with consultants

Send the tender or the water analysis. You’ll get a technical response — itemized, brands and models named — not a lump sum. Our quotations are written to survive procurement scrutiny, because most of our institutional work arrives through consultants who’ve worked with us before.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you work from consultant specifications?
Yes. We tender against your specification and return an itemized technical response with brands and models named. Where you’d rather we develop the design, we work from the water analysis and the discharge or end-use requirement.
2. What capacities have you delivered?
Water treatment plants from 1,000 to 10,000 litres per hour, delivered across hotel, institutional and industrial projects — including Soaltee Westend Resort, Birgunj. Sewage and effluent treatment from 10 to 200 KLD. Send us your flow figures and water analysis and we’ll tell you directly whether it sits inside what we’ve built.
3. Do you maintain the plants you build?
Yes, under annual maintenance contracts run to the same discipline as our pool maintenance division: scheduled visits, recorded readings, a written report, and a named engineer to call.
