    1. What does an AV integrator do that an electronics supplier doesn’t?
    Equipment is 60% of a system. We do the other 40%: acoustic calculation, DSP tuning, control programming, commissioning. It’s the difference between a hall where every seat hears clearly and one where the mic howls when the chief guest speaks.
    2. Why do wireless microphones crackle and drop?
    Poor frequency coordination — not fate. Professional systems scan and lock clean frequencies and run dozens of channels interference-free; it’s how live concerts work. If your boardroom mic crackles, the system was installed, not engineered.
    3. Can you work to our consultant’s specification or a government tender?
    Yes — we deliver to your tender document or your consultant’s specification: the specified equipment supplied and installed, itemized brand-and-model quotations, technical submittals, compliance documentation, and documented handover. And if you don’t have a specification yet, we can help you design one from the room and the requirement.
    4. Which brands do you carry?
    Shure, Yamaha, Extron, Televic, Proel, Meyer, JBL, TOA, among others — specified per project need, not per what’s in stock. Aecom by VIE TEC is the exclusive authorized distributor for Shure and Televic in Nepal.
    5. Can one system cover background music for a whole hotel?
    Yes — zoned BGM across every public space, controlled from one panel; the duty manager changes the lobby’s mood with one touch. We delivered exactly this across Dusit Thani Kathmandu and other properties.
    6. Do you handle video conferencing and hybrid meeting rooms?
    Yes — camera, audio and control integration for Teams/Zoom rooms, from boardrooms to training halls.
    7. Do you provide AMC for AV systems?
    Yes — preventive maintenance, firmware and calibration checks, and priority response options, with written reports.
    8. Is Aecom by VIE TEC related to the global company AECOM?
    No — Aecom Pvt Ltd is a Nepali company, VIE TEC’s audio-visual division, operating in Nepal. Unrelated to AECOM the multinational.
