Selecting your Electric heater or Infrared panel

When selecting the Electric heater or Infrared panel the most important factor to consider is the room size.

To calculate the room Size:

Length x Breadth x Height = Volume of the Room.

The room volume will determine the capacity of a Sauna Heater.

Based on the volume of room an electric Heater or the Infrared Panels are selected.

Important Design Considerations

The ceiling height is quite Critical for temperature range. Most Saunas have a maximum height of 7 feet.

Proper Location of vents allows for correct airflow. Air circulation is one of the most important things to consider during the design of Sauna. This ensures that Sauna does not overheat and hamper the wood.

Minimum Distance to side wall from the heater should be between 50mm-110mm depending on the heater size.
